About Habit Formed Records
Welcome to Mid Wales’ newest independent record label. HabitFormed Records Ltd is an independent record company,
band management and promotional organisation, getting live gigs for bands, Based out of Llandrindod Wells. We aim to be a
little different to other labels around by taking on an eclectic mix of acts. We are fair to all involved, keeping profits fair
with a 50/50 split between the artists and the label. We beg, borrow and steal studio time to keep costs down which in turn
enables us to share more profits with the artists that we work with. We are a new breed of record label. Well in fact if the truth be
known we like to think of ourselves as a music marketing business.
You see in this day and age musicians, solo artist and bands alike don’t need a record contract as such to get their music "out there". OK, having the financial clout of a
big label behind you is an advantage, but you have to pay back every penny these labels lend you, and then they split greedily what is
left to their advantage. Times are a changing and here at HabitFormed Records Ltd we have set up what we feel is a new beginning for
artists and bands who want the "security" of being signed, without the need to sell their soul to the devil.

and expect music that is submitted to us for consideration to be of a high standard and that the artists themselves are prepared to present
themselves in a professional manner.
